[TUT]How to Install Custom ROMS

This post will help the new users of Android for using Custom ROMS.

What is a Custom ROM?
Ans.A custom ROM is one that has undergone any modification from being a pure distribution of Android. Google make the Android source code available for anyone to play around with, and people take this code and alter it for themselves. Whether to add features they come up with, or to redistribute it with fun tweaks and additions. So a custom ROM can range in definition from some custom code modifications to make Android run better on a device, all the way to changing the homescreen, background services, and default software.

Flashing proceedure:-

1.download the rom u want to install

2.make sure u have a custom recovery installed

3.copy the custom rom to ur sdcard 

4. boot up ur phone into recovery mode by  pressing the power+volume up key till the recovery menu appears

5.Select install  from sdcard option 

6.Select the .zip custom rom u want to install 

7.after installation of the rom 

8.Wipe Cache/Dalvik cache

9.Reboot

10.Ur Done with the custom rom.....
